Declaration of accessibility
1. information about this website in simple language
- The apartment hotel La Laguna offers 16 modern apartments for 2-3 people. There is a pool, a small library in the lobby and restaurants nearby (e.g. La Taberna de Joaquim).
- The website has a main menu and a logo at the top left. The menu leads to information on rooms, prices, photos, booking and contact. The logo takes you back to the homepage.
- You can find help on the “Contact” or “Imprint” page. There you will find the telephone number, e-mail, address and often a contact form.
2. our commitment
The Apartment Hotel LaLaguna strives to make digital access as barrier-free as possible for everyone. We follow the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1/2.2 at conformity level AA as well as the applicable national requirements (such as the BFSG or the BITV 2.0).
3. status of compatibility
This website is partially compliant with the above requirements due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions. We are continuously working to correct existing deficiencies.
4. non-accessible content
Despite our efforts, the following areas have not yet been completely barrier-free:
- Third-party content: Embedded maps (e.g. Google Maps) or social media widgets are sometimes beyond our technical control in terms of keyboard operability.
- Forms: For complex forms, the error message can be optimized for screen reader users in individual cases.
- Illogical heading hierarchy: Page builders (such as Elementor or Divi) that often use heading tags (
h1toh6) for the design rather than for the logical structure (e.g. a jump fromh1directly toh3). - Too little contrast: Text-background combinations that fall below the minimum contrast values, especially in footers, meta information (date, author) or buttons.
- Missing form labels: Plugins such as Contact Form 7, where input fields often do not have clearly linked labels, which makes orientation difficult for the visually impaired.
- Uncontrollable sliders: Carousels or slider plug-ins that move automatically and do not have a pause button accessible from the keyboard.
- Meaningless links: Buttons or links that just say “Learn more” or “Click here” without the context being clear to a screen reader (which often only reads out lists of links).
5. preparation of this declaration
This declaration was created on 03/2026. The accessibility assessment is based on a self-assessmentwhich was last carried out on 03/2026.
